About me

Prior to studying Business and Economics at Loughborough University in the UK, I worked as a Graphic Designer, Sub-editor, and Marketing Communications Executive in Cambridgeshire.

My real-world experience creates a solid foundation and today, with more than 20 years experience as a teacher and examiner, I am excited to be able to continue offering my support to students online.

I initially developed my online teaching skills whilst working with Durham University International Business Centre. In addition, having been the Programme Leader for A-level Business & Economics at Sunderland Sixth Form and working with clients such as Ace of Brussels and Wendover online school, I am familiar with the needs of students around the globe, particularly those requiring flexibility with their studies (such as sporting champions), those struggling in mainstream schools, and adults returning to education.

I encourage all my students to take responsibility for their learning, engage in wider reading, and conduct their studies so they are fully prepared for higher education, the world of work/business and life in general. It gives me immense satisfaction to see the progress made every step of the way and the smiles on faces from the success their hard work and focus brings.
